Giant Pink Marshmallows

Many things in New Zealand are almost the same, but somehow slightly different from our experiences in the States.  Take, for example, s’mores and marshmallows.  The past time of toasting marshmallows on a campfire is alive and well down under.  However, instead of Hershey’s chocolate and graham crackers, Kiwis put their toasted marshmallows on a chocolate biscuit (cookie w/chocolate layer).  But the big difference is that, much to the delight of our girls, marshmallows come in two colors: white and PINK!  What’s more, during our recent trip the country side was littered with giant pink marshmallows where farmers had wrapped hay for the winter.  Naturally, the kids wanted a closer look:
